At First Class Hampers, we don't just create hampers, we design and deliver industry-leading gifting experiences that are recognised across Australia. Every detail matters, from the packaging to the finishing touches, and we're looking for a creative mind who can help us make every product as beautiful, practical, and millimetre-perfect as possible.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for design and attention to detail, who excels at bringing ideas to life through tangible products. During the initial six-month contract period, you'll have the opportunity to source, design, and refine product elements, working closely with our in-house designer and suppliers to bring new concepts to life, with the potential for an ongoing role.
What You'll Do
- Bring ideas to life: Coordinate new product development projects from concept through to launch, ensuring every milestone is delivered on time.
- Collaborate with creatives: Work closely with our designer to review and finalise packaging artwork, making sure brand standards shine through in every piece.
- Work with makers: Liaise with suppliers to gather quotes, manage samples, and keep production moving smoothly.
- Keep everything on track: Use project management tools like Trello to stay on top of tasks, timelines, and team updates.
- Champion quality: Support product testing, manage compliance paperwork, and ensure everything meets the First Class standard.
- Be the connector: Provide cross-team support, ensuring marketing, sales, and operations have the information they need to tell our product story.
What You'll Bring
- 2-3 years of experience in product development, buying, or supply chain coordination.
- Super-organised with a knack for juggling multiple projects at once.
- Clear, confident communicator who can collaborate with designers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and familiarity with project management systems (like Trello).
- Proficiency with design tools and programs.
- A background or interest in packaging, design approvals, or supplier negotiations will be highly regarded.
About You
- A natural eye for detail and design, you know instantly when something looks right (or not).
- Proactive, resourceful, and motivated to see projects through.
- Able to problem-solve on the fly and stay calm under pressure.
- A genuine team player who enjoys collaboration but can work independently when needed.
- Above all, you're excited about the idea of creating products that look and feel extraordinary.
Why join us?
At First Class Hampers, you'll be part of a passionate team that values creativity, precision, and innovation. Every project you work on directly shapes the products we send out into the world, gifts that delight thousands of people across Australia every year.
