KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily Accounting Operations

  • Managing the day-to-day accounting transactions
  • Reconcile Deposits (Credit Cards, Cash, Gift Vouchers, POS)
  • Verifying balances in general ledger accounts and rectifying discrepancies

Accounts Receivable & Payable

  • Manage Accounts Receivable -including invoicing, payment tracking, and debt collection
  • Assist with Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger tasks

Month-End & Year-End Support

  • Support month- end close activities including balance sheet reconciliations and journals entries
  • Assist with year-end accounts preparation and group reporting

Financial Reporting & Admin Support

  • Support the Finance Manager with budgeting, reporting, and maintaining financial records
  • Maintain asset register, insurance documentation, and related reporting
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement within the finance team

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 3+ years proven experience in a similar role
  • Degree in Accounting or Commerce
  • Ideally studying for Professional Qualification (CPA/CA)
  • Experience in Xero
  • Manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadline
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills and teamwork skills
  • Mandarin is a plus for this role.
