We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Technical Records Officer. This position plays a vital role in maintaining accurate and up to date aircraft maintenance records within the Aerotrack system and managing all associated technical manuals. The successful applicant will receive comprehensive one on one training from the current incumbent, developing the skills and knowledge required to confidently take over the role in the coming years. No prior experience is necessary, just a strong willingness to learn, a proactive attitude, and a keen eye for detail.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and update electronic aircraft maintenance records, including data within the Aerotrack system and technical manual subscriptions.
  • Establish and manage record keeping standards and processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support maintenance control activities and assist with technical records management.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support the Engineering Team.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Head of Engineering.

  • Demonstrated high level administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and compliant records.
  • Proven ability to sustain a high level of concentration and focus when managing complex technical documentation and data entry tasks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Proactive and accountable, with the ability to identify issues, take ownership, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Experience preparing work packs and logbook statements.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes under time constraints.
  • Proficient in computer applications relevant to recordkeeping and data management.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new systems or procedures.
  • Australian permanent residency or citizenship.
