Moncur Health Services is a clinical telehealth provider dedicated to improving veteran access to practitioners who can deliver high-quality, timely assessments to support Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) claims. We specialise in providing expert assistance with diagnostic and permanent impairment assessments that accurately reflect veterans' experiences and streamline the process for both clinicians and DVA.

Position Objective:

We are seeking veteran-focused General Practitioners to join our national contractor network, delivering a telehealth-based veteran health assessments on a flexible, contractor basis.

You'll focus exclusively on assessment and reporting, without any ongoing treatment responsibilities. Clinical focus areas include Mental Health and Musculoskeletal conditions, with an emphasis on understanding service-related health impacts and the realities of military life.

The position begins at one day per week, with the opportunity to scale up as our service continues to grow and referral volumes increase.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Registration with AHPRA
  • FRACGP/FACRRM Registered
  • Eligible for a Medicare Provider Number
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Proficiency in document sharing software and digital completion of reports

Desirable:

  • Experience in DVA reporting
  • Knowledge around veteran mental health and conditions commonly associated with military service
