In this role you will:
- Lead the Systems Delivery team and drive strategic and operational outcomes across digital platforms.
- Develop and implement a Systems Delivery Strategy aligned with Council's Digital Strategy and Strategic Plan.
- Manage major digital and systems projects that enhance service delivery, efficiency and community outcomes.
- Provide expert advice on systems integration, innovation and optimisation.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, stakeholders, and teams across Council.
Coach, develop and empower a skilled, future-focused team.
About you:
You're a visionary systems leader who thrives in dynamic environments. You bring both the technical expertise and the strategic mindset to deliver complex projects and lasting digital change. You'll shine in this role with:
- A proven track record in delivering high-impact business systems and process improvements.
- Strong experience leading teams and fostering a collaborative, performance-driven culture.
- Formal qualifications in ICT software project management and/or ITIL V4 (or similar) are highly regarded.
- Knowledge of common local government ERP, GIS and integration platforms - OneCouncil, Azure and M365 experience will be a strong advantage.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working within local government / Or a similar large and complex environment would be required.
