IT Systems Management Opportunity
">The Tasman Hotel in Hobart is seeking an experienced IT systems manager to join their team. This rare opportunity combines a passion for hospitality with driving the hotel's IT function.
">About the Role:
">This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range and superannuation.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Manage daily IT operations and embed IT systems to meet customer expectations
">- Supervise computer technology contracts and external contractors
">- Build positive relations with hotel staff, regional IT teams, and technology partners
">- Ensure hardware and software integrity through preventative and remedial measures
">- Implement process and procedures for system management, including backup, disaster recovery planning, and user ID management
">- Provide training and support to associates
">Requirements:
">- Suitable qualifications in technology and 2+ years of experience in similar roles
">- Working knowledge of hotel property management systems, server architecture, and security implementation
">- Skilled in LAN networks, desktop operating systems, and desktop management
">- Familiarity with project management methodologies
">- Excellent communication skills and a passion for service excellence
">- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
