What You'll Do

  • Champion HR & Safety: Swiftly address HR and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) matters, escalating complex issues to the People & Culture Manager with confidence.
  • Be a Trusted Ally: Act as a go-to contact for employees, handling sensitive concerns with professionalism, ethics, and care.
  • Uphold Integrity: Manage confidential HR, safety, and quality issues efficiently to protect our company's values.
  • Drive Compliance: Ensure induction, training, and safety materials meet company and legislative standards.
  • Strengthen Safety Systems: Maintain and audit our Safety Management System to uphold compliance and foster a proactive safety culture.
  • Recruitment: Oversee end-to-end recruitment, from crafting contracts to guiding Recruitment and HR Advisors.
  • Enhance Safety Outcomes: Analyse incident and hazard reports, implementing smart control measures to prevent recurrence.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven HR and OH&S experience with a strong focus on safety.
  • Deep knowledge of HR practices and OH&S legislation.
  • Relevant safety qualification (e.g., Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or equivalent).
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse teams.
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential matters.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head-on.
