Are you seeking an opportunity within the mining sector as an HR Advisor?
The opportunity exists to join a top tier mining contractor on a six-month contract. Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • The provision of generalist advice regarding policies and procedures, legislation, industrial tools, and employee relations
  • Support the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
  • Provide coaching and development to line management to drive performance, development, cultural initiatives and annual cyclical activities
  • Support performance management, grievances and disciplinaries, escalating complex cases accordingly
  • Play an active role in designing, developing and executing HR projects where required

To be successful in your application, you will possess a tertiary qualification in human resources or a related specialism with an operational generalist human resources background at an advisory level.

You will possess experience either from within a shared service or the mining and resources sector, and it is essential that you have a working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards, including the interpretation of modern awards and enterprise agreements This position will initially be offered on the basis of a six-month fixed term contract and an immediate start would be preferred
