About the Role

We're on the hunt for a Payroll Guru with HR smarts – someone who knows Tanda Payroll inside out, and thrives on getting the details right, even when juggling competing deadlines.

Reporting to the HR Manager and working closely with a remote support team, you'll be responsible for:

Payroll (Primary Focus)

  • End-to-end payroll processing for up to 250 employees across multiple sites, every fortnight using Tanda Payroll
  • Troubleshooting STP reporting and managing compliance (ATO, Super, Award Interpretation)
  • Handling onboarding, offboarding, and leave management in alignment with payroll cycles
  • Working with park managers to ensure timesheet accuracy and award compliance (primarily HIGA & Hospitality Industry Awards)

HR Generalist Duties

  • Coordinating our 5 Relief Management Teams, scheduling their assignments
  • Supporting employment contract generation, variation letters, and documentation
  • Assisting with WorkCover, Workers' Comp, and Return-to-Work processes
  • Helping managers with award interpretation, entitlements, and best practice advice
  • Maintaining employee records, compliance checklists, and HR registers

About You

You're a payroll perfectionist with a flair for HR. You're calm under pressure, take ownership of your work, and bring a solutions-focused mindset.

You'll need:

  • Proven experience processing payroll (ideally 100+ employees)
  • Expert-level Tanda experience (payroll and timesheets)
  • Expert knowledge of Australian employment legislation and awards (especially HIGA)
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence working independently in a remote environment
  • To bring genuine Care and Respect for all of our Staff across the whole Organisation
