Are you an experienced Open Space/ Commercial Mower Operator or an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for pristine green spaces? We're actively searching for experienced commercial mower operators to step into an exciting role with as our next Open Space Mower Operator

We're on the hunt for temporary superstars to join our awesome Programmed team at Clyde Depot in vibrant City of Casey, Melbourne, VIC. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to be the unsung hero behind Casey's beautiful parks and gardens

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Occasional weekend work and overtime may be available based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Execution of mowing and trimming tasks to uphold high standards of landscape presentation across various open spaces within City of Casey precinct.
  • Horticultural Support: Assisting with general open space care, including edging, blowing, brush cutting and maintaining mowing cycles to enhance aesthetic appeal.
  • Site Management: Efficient removal of leaves, litter collection, and debris to ensure cleanliness and safety within designated areas.
  • Equipment Stewardship: Performing routine maintenance and upkeep of all assigned tools and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and prolonged operation.
  • Team Collaboration: Working effectively within a team environment to achieve daily operational objectives and contribute to overall team success.
  • Safety & Compliance: Diligent adherence to daily worksite assessments, HACCP protocols, and all relevant OH&S compliance standards, ensuring a safe working environment.

Our ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in Grounds Maintenance and Commercial Mowing
  • Experience running own business or foreman / supervisory experience beneficial but not required
  • Available from Monday to Friday
