About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial & SMSF Loan Processor / Broker Assistant to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial, SMSF, and complex loan processing who is looking to further develop their career in the mortgage and finance industry.

You will work closely with our brokers to support commercial loan submissions, SMSF and trust lending structures, manage compliance, and ensure smooth back-office operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain deep insight into the end-to-end commercial and SMSF lending process while being part of a supportive and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end commercial, SMSF, and trust loan processing, including document preparation, compliance tracking, and client follow-up.

Liaise with a wide range of lenders to follow up on loan progress, outstanding conditions, and settlement timelines.

Apply strong credit knowledge to assist brokers in deal structuring, particularly in commercial, SMSF, trust, construction, full doc and low doc loans.

Maintain accurate client records and data integrity in CRM and lender portals.

Demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise multiple complex transactions.

Handle confidential and sensitive financial information with professionalism.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 2 years of experience in loan processing, credit support, or broker assistant roles, with exposure to commercial and SMSF lending.

Strong understanding of credit policies and ability to work through complex loan structures.

Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and time management.

Clear and professional communication skills with both clients and lenders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe, and CRM systems.

Preferred Backgrounds

Prior experience in commercial lending, SMSF loans, or banking credit support roles.

Academic background in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability in loan scenarios.

Asian background preferred due to client base.

Visa Requirements

Applicants must have valid working rights in Australia (working visa, PR, or citizenship).
