About the role

As our new Digital Innovation Manager, you will lead the development and execution of the Business Technology Strategic Plan, driving digital innovation and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing GenAI projects, shaping business and technology strategies, enhancing data analytics, and leading IT innovation. The role also involves evaluating emerging technologies, trialling their viability, and guiding solution design and delivery under the procurement framework to ensure alignment with business goals.

Overall, you will lead the development and implementation of V/Line's digital innovation strategy, fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive transformative outcomes across the organisation.

About you

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Strong understanding of digital technologies (Cloud Computing, GenAI, Data Warehousing and Analytics) and their application to a business sense
• Demonstrated experience leading the development and implementation of an enterprise-wise digital innovation strategy, fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive transformative outcomes across the organisation.
• Proven experience in managing digital transformation projects and implementing innovative digital solutions
• Understanding of how digital solutions can impact overall business strategy and goals.
• Familiarity with digital tools, software, and emerging technologies.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills to manage digital projects and coordinate teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Remuneration for this position is commensurate to the successful candidate's aligned skills and experience to the position.

Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2023 / Asset Management Enterprise Agreement 2023).
