The CompanyJR Richards & Sons are an Australian family-owned and operated resource recovery company contracting to over thirty local Councils across large regional areas of NSW and in northern Victoria. The Company employs over 600 people with a fleet in excess of 400 heavy vehicles in operation. We are at the forefront of the industry with purpose-built recovery facilities diverting over 100,000 tonnes annually of kerbside and commercial organics and recyclables from landfill. What You'll Be Doing- Coordinate and manage job advertisements across internal and external platforms.
- Screen applications and shortlist candidates in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Schedule interviews, coordinate assessments, and manage candidate communications.
- Assist with pre-employment checks including medical bookings, reference checks, and contract preparation.
- Be the first point of contact for recruitment queries, responding with professionalism and care.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with legislation, policies, and DEI standards.
- Prepare reports and metrics to support workforce planning.
- Contribute to recruitment strategies and continuous improvement projects.
- Support hiring managers with process guidance and market insights.
- Liaise with external agencies, job boards, and community groups.
- Represent the company at career expos and recruitment events.
- Develop creative and engaging job advertisements tailored to each role.
- Support innovation and process improvement across recruitment and onboarding.
- Experience in recruitment coordination, frontline operational roles a bonus.
- Familiarity with recruitment tracking systems and job boards.
- Understanding of employment legislation and recruitment best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's licence (travel may be required).
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources (desired).
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to craft compelling job ads and campaigns.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, autonomous, and solutions focused.
- Strong customer service orientation and professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, no weekends
