Nurse Next Door Maitland is looking for a compassionate and proactive People's Experience Coordinator to join our team. This role, often referred to as an HR Coordinator, is vital to our mission of Making Lives Better. You'll directly support our incredible nurses and caregivers, ensuring they feel valued, connected, and empowered to deliver exceptional care.
What You'll Do:As our People's Experience/HR Coordinator, you'll be the heart of our office, responsible for a mix of tasks that create a fantastic employee experience and keep our operations running smoothly.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: You will oversee the entire journey for new team members. This includes managing job listings, shortlisting candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, and ensuring a seamless, welcoming onboarding process for every new hire.
- Team Support & Engagement: You'll be the primary point of contact for our team, providing compassionate support and answering daily inquiries. You'll help foster a positive work environment, coordinate employee recognition programs, and assist with any sensitive workplace matters.
- HR Administration: You will manage essential administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate employee files, processing leave requests, and ensuring all data is up-to-date to support payroll and compliance.
- Championing Our Mission: You will be a key player in bringing our core values to life, ensuring our people are empowered and supported in their important work of making lives better for our clients.
We are looking for someone who has the right skills and a genuine passion for our mission.
- Proven experience in a people-focused role such as a coordinator, administrator, or similar HR position is a must.
- A formal qualification in Human Resources is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS Award) is highly regarded.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, empathetic, and organized approach.
