About the Department
The Mental Health Division forms part of Austin Health. It provides a comprehensive range of child, adolescent and adult mental health services to the areas of northeast metro Melbourne along with inter-regional and statewide specialist services, which are provided on both an inpatient basis and in community settings.
The Mental Health Division is strongly committed to providing recovery-oriented services by providing holistic, compassionate care and offering partnership in recovery.
About the role
This is a front facing customer service role engaging with our consumers, as well as providing administrative support to our clinical teams.
This position will cover both planned and unplanned leave in all administration locations within the Mental Health Division. This encompasses the Austin Campus, Repat Campus, Royal Talbot Campus, Hawdon St, Burgundy St, PARC and the Statewide Centre.
About you
As the Administrative Officer, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence. You'll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring with you:
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise work and multi-task in a busy environment
- The ability to follow a prescribed workflow and escalate when necessary
- Ability to problem solve and attention to detail
- Proficiency and digital literacy expertise including the MS Office Suite
