The Role

You'll report directly to the Construction Director and take full responsibility for delivering projects under your control. The work includes a mix of health, education, and government projects, both new builds and refurbishments typically ranging from $5M to $30M.

This is a hands-on delivery role, ideal for a capable PM who's confident managing timelines, budgets, teams, and stakeholders. You'll be empowered to run your site your way, backed by solid systems, experienced peers, and head office support.

No need to list the duties, if you're a PM, you'll know what's expected. What matters here is your ability to deliver safe, high-quality work while keeping everyone informed and engaged throughout the process.

The Builder

One of the most highly regarded commercial builders in Melbourne, highly profitable, a strong supportive culture and an emphasis on training and developing all employees, now requires a Project Manager work with existing clients, on new and upcoming projects. Typically they deliver the following types of projects:

  • Schools
  • Health builds
  • Sports/Leisure
  • State/Federal govt. building projects
  • Community buildings

Are you suitable?

We're looking for someone with strong experience in regional commercial builds, ideally within education, healthcare, or civic infrastructure. You'll need to be a clear communicator, strong leader, and confident operator.

You're likely to tick the following boxes:

  • 5-10 years' experience in commercial construction, with recent Project Manager roles
  • Proven delivery of builds valued between $5M - $30M
  • Strong consultant, subcontractor, and supplier relationships within Victoria
  • Familiar with Tier 3 or Tier 4 builder systems and delivery processes here in Melbourne
  • Confident mentoring junior staff, managing project teams, and reporting to senior stakeholders
