The Role
As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will work on all aspects of concept and detailed civil design and documentation across diverse projects, taking ownership of your work and expanding your project portfolio. Hybrid working arrangements are available, allowing a balance of office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Ensure successful project delivery
  • Produce, review, and check designs in accordance with relevant standards and codes
  • Deliver design calculations, reports, and drawings under limited supervision
  • Provide civil engineering design services to clients as necessary
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Prepare project briefs, scopes of work, and fees
  • Mentor and support junior engineers

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Engineering degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years post-graduate engineering consultancy experience (preferred)
  • Self-motivated, technically competent, able to work independently and within a team
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • Familiarity with relevant software such as DRAINS, MUSIC, AutoCAD, and AutoTrack
  • Road design experience in accordance with Austroads and industry best practice, including geometric design and pavement engineering
  • 12d software experience is highly desirable
