About you:

  • You will understand how pivotal the business development role is to our growth and success. You love working at a fast pace, spending a lot of your day on the phone with clients, sending emails, or having internal discussions about hospital needs, our nurses who are available, and working to make a happy match
  • You love establishing and nurturing partnerships with your clients and understand the importance of building a foundation of trust and reliability. You will revel in being the person a hospital thinks of when they have a vacancy because you understand their needs, supply the best nurses, and are efficient and easy to work with
  • You ask your clients regularly how you can make their job easier and don't accept generic 'everything is fine' responses. You will work hard to identify what truly matters to your clients, will keep asking questions and take action on what you have learned
  • You appreciate the importance of teamwork and collaboration. You will be a subject matter expert for internal team members with nurse portfolios to ensure you have a pipeline of nurses for your clients. You will enjoy 'working the room' to drum up interest in roles you have not yet filled
  • You will thrive in an entrepreneurial, high-energy, low-bureaucracy culture and won't hesitate to suggest innovative thinking and creative problem solving. You will love that every day will be different, the constant challenge of new problems to be solved and will never tire of the positive impact you have in securing travel nurses for your state
  • Competition drives you to excel and work fast to maintain your roster lines and take on more. Retaining your clients will be just as important to you as outperforming our competitors and building on the respect we have earned in our industry. You will ensure your clients understand what differentiates Affinity from our competitors
  • Your hospital clients will welcome your support to improve the quality and continuity of patient care and you will be happy to pivot many times a day as hospital needs become known. You will collaborate with internal teams including Travel and Credentialing to ensure seamless delivery of our nursing workforce and our client-centric services
