We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
State Manager – QLD
to lead and grow our operations for a leading national commercial cleaning business. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven leader to take ownership of the Queensland business, driving growth, operational excellence, and strong client partnerships.

About the Role:

Reporting to the National Executive Team, the State Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the Queensland business. You will lead a motivated team, manage client relationships at a senior level, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services across a diverse portfolio. This role offers autonomy, accountability, and the opportunity to make a significant impact in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for the P&L of the Queensland business, delivering sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing operations and support team.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring service excellence and retention.
  • Drive business development opportunities across existing and new accounts.
  • Implement best practice operational systems, processes, and compliance frameworks.
  • Act as a visible, hands-on leader across sites, clients, and teams.

About You:

You are a proven leader with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to deliver in fast-paced, high-growth businesses. With experience in
soft services, facilities management, or trade services
, you will bring operational discipline, client focus, and an ability to drive performance.

  • A track record of successfully managing P&L and delivering growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead teams from the front.
  • Proven client engagement and relationship management expertise.
