Job Description
We are looking for a strategic and ambitious senior leader who can help shape the future of revenue management: drive revenue growth across a portfolio of our iconic hotels and brands, nurture high-performance teams and shape emerging capability, and be at the helm of sector-leading technology as we roll it out across our global operations.
As Portfolio Director of Revenue, you will be entrusted with optimising our revenue performance and achieving our business goals. You will formulate and execute revenue strategies for our hotels, collaborate with the executive team on long-term business plans, develop our revenue community of practice internally and externally, and identify and inspire talent growth.
You will:
- Develop robust revenue strategies for multiple properties.
- Support the executive team on long-term business plans and manage the revenue management budget process.
- Lead the weekly/bi-weekly Revenue Management meetings providing insights based on reporting data.
- Develop topline revenue forecasts and actively seek opportunities to drive incremental profit across all revenue centres of the business.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and optimise pricing and inventory.
- Drive initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and sustainability efforts.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Reservations and Front Office teams to achieve revenue goals.
- Ensure reservations are optimised by providing support to the Reservations team.
- Drive market share in your competitive set and ensure all systems are adequately used to optimise RevPAR.
- Develop an evolving culture of understanding and best practice in the changing distribution landscape, including online travel agencies and distribution networks.
- Responsible for data quality and system hygiene of Revenue Management and Distribution applications; platforms and tools used by the hotels.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in senior revenue management roles. Experience overseeing multiple properties is preferable.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of getting the best out of people and driving high-performance.
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to make strategic decisions that enhance revenue growth.
- Advanced knowledge of revenue management principles.
- IDeaS Revenue Management Platform experience highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of the distribution landscape, online travel agencies, and emerging market trends.
- A collaborative forward-thinking mindset with a passion for elevating revenue management as a respected and valued community of practice with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Being curious & open-minded.
