Job Title: Portfolio Director

Job Description:

The role of the Portfolio Director is to lead a team of centre managers in delivering exceptional results across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities include reviewing key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them. This may involve analysing data, developing business plans and working with centre managers to implement changes.

Another key aspect of the role is talent development and succession planning. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of coaching and mentoring staff to achieve their full potential and develop a pipeline of future leaders.

A strong commercial mind and understanding of business acumen are essential for this role. The ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts and make informed decisions about resource allocation is critical to success.

Finally, the Portfolio Director will be responsible for ensuring all centres are compliant with policies and regulatory requirements. This will involve working closely with centre managers to embed best practice and addressing any areas of non-compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary degree in an Early Learning or business-oriented discipline
  • 6+ years' experience in a multi-site business, with 5+ years of management experience
  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework
  • Excellent project-management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
