Due to recent changes within the Safety, Health & Environment team we have a current vacancy for a Principal Safety Partner role supporting our Bulk West business.

This role, based in Welshpool, will be key in delivering our new Safety Strategy and enhancing safety capability across the organisation.

Working across our Western Australian region, this role will see you leading a small team of safety professionals and partnering with our operational teams to identify, develop, and implement safety initiatives and compliance activities that uplift BU safety capability, capacity and performance.

About you:
You are an experienced leader with a history in operational safety management.Influential at all levels, you can have courageous conversations with frontline leaders, whilst being a trusted peer to the Senior Leadership team. You have proven success in working across a broad stakeholder group to translate enterprise strategies into business initiative that deliver results.

  • An expert on BU safety effectiveness that provides counsel and coaching to the BU leadership teams to uplift safety capability.
  • Identify key business challenges / opportunities and collaborate with key corporate partners to design and deliver enterprise solutions.
  • Monitor and review the effectiveness of safety policies, programs and processes using agreed measures and provide feedback for improvements to policy/process owners.
  • You are flexible with how you work and understand that some travel will be required
