We're looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our skilled team in the manufacturing and testing of lifting and rigging equipment.
Based in Welshpool
and
working Monday to Friday
, this role is ideal for Maintenance Supervisors, Superintendents, or Workshop Leading Hands who thrive in hands-on environments but are ready to step into a leadership position with better work-life balance.

Some Of The Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the manufacturing and testing operations
  • Lead, coach, and develop your team including Team Leaders, Production Technicians.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse and Supply Chain to align with priorities and inventory
  • Work with the team to uplift productivity and efficiency while maintaining equipment service scheduling
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant standards (including NATA, DNV, ISO, HSE)
  • Foster a positive, engaged workplace culture through daily communications, team development and performance recognition

Some Of The Skills Required

  • Previous experience in Lifting & Rigging, Manufacturing and/or Distribution environment
  • Team leadership and team development experience
  • A current forklift ticket
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and bring people on a journey
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience in a continuous improvement environment (including Lean and 6 sigma)
  • Knowledge of heavy lifting and rigging product advantageous
  • Exposure to NATA or similar desirable
