The Role:

We are seeking 2 x Domestic Assistants to join our team on a casual basis at Bethanie Peel Aged Care Home. This 50-bed facility features landscaped gardens and a memory support area for residents with dementia. Successful applicants will provide relief across morning, afternoon, weekend, and public holiday shifts, with opportunities to train as Kitchen Hand and Laundry Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean bathrooms, toilets, furniture, fittings, floors, and communal areas.
  • Stock supplies across the facility.
  • Liaise with other employees to meet residents' needs.
  • Label and put away residents' personal clothing, identifying items that need mending.

About You:

  • Experience as a Domestic Assistant/Cleaner in aged care, hospital, or similar environment.
  • 'Can do' attitude and genuine compassion for residents.
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to uphold Bethanie's Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply).
