As a Personal Care and Domestic Support Worker, you'll work directly with NDIS participants to provide safe, respectful, and empowering support. Duties include:
- Personal care (showering, grooming, dressing)
- Domestic tasks (meal prep, cleaning, shopping)
- Transport and mobility assistance
- Supporting community access and appointments
- Accurate documentation and shift notes
- Maintaining professional boundaries at all times
- Certificate III/IV in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous support work or lived experience (highly regarded)
- Experience working with challenging and complex behaviours
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Driver's Licence, reliable vehicle & comprehensive insurance
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to professionalism
- Caring, patient, and empathetic approach
To succeed in this role, you must be comfortable providing personal care, work collaboratively in a teamdemonstrate strict professional boundaries at all times.
