The Role

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and flexible Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. The role involves supporting clients with daily living activities, community participation, and implementing support strategies where required.

Please note:

We are especially looking for staff who are willing to work short, split shifts, often required to meet the individual needs of our clients. We are looking for support workers available Mondays and Thursdays to assist our participants with community participation, building independence, and engaging in meaningful daily activities. Duties include:

  • Supporting participants to access the community (shopping, appointments, recreational activities).
  • Encouraging skill development and independence.
  • Providing companionship and social support.
  • Maintaining accurate progress notes and following support plans.
  • Support clients to access the community and attend appointments

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support
  • Assist with personal care, mealtime, and domestic duties
  • Accurately document daily progress and incidents
  • Follow client-specific support plans and behaviour strategies

  • Ability to work independently and in a team

Essential Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services (mandatory).
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Valid Driver's License and own reliable vehicle
  • Manual Handling and Medication Administration (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience supporting clients with Autism, complex behaviours, mental health and Acquired Brain Injury (desirable)
