NDIS Disability Support Workers

Spring Mountain, Australia Hope & Care Community Services Full time $35,000 - $44,000 per year

We are seeking compassionate and experienced support workers — or those with a strong interest in the field — to join our team in the Spring Mountain and Augustine Heights areas. Manual handling experience and the ability to follow safe work practices are essential to support the needs of our participants.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability, or other relevant qualifications are preferred, but not essential.
  • Proven manual handling skills and confidence in applying safe work practices.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and delivering high-quality care.
  • Experience in disability support is highly valued.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals, families, and other stakeholders.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check is required prior to commencement.
  • Availability of a minimum of 2–3 shifts per week, including nights and sleepover shifts.
  • Possession of an open driver's licence and reliable transportation.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Respond to clients' needs and work collaboratively with their families, support networks, and other stakeholders in their lives.
  • Accurately document activities, progress notes, and incident reports in a timely manner.
  • Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies when required, with training provided where necessary.
  • Adhere to the NDIS Code of Conduct at all times.
