Pay Rate: $40 – $48 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Location: Toowoomba & Surrounding Areas

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced NDIS Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in Toowoomba and nearby regions. This is a subcontractor position—ideal for sole traders with their own ABN who are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS participants.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide individualised assistance to participants, supporting them to achieve their goals, build independence, and live fulfilling lives.

Support may include (depending on participant needs):

  • Personal care and daily living assistance
  • Community access and social support
  • Transport to appointments and activities
  • Skill development and goal-oriented support
  • Light domestic assistance and meal preparation

This is a casual role — ideal for those looking to manage their own schedule while delivering meaningful, client-focused care.

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

  • An ABN and operate as a sole trader
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations (as required by NDIS guidelines)
  • Relevant experience in disability support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable (not essential)

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or similar
  • Experience working with clients with high or complex needs
  • Mental health or behaviour support experience
