We are seeking a dedicated and experienced female support worker to provide one-on-one support for a female participant living close to Cairns CBD. The role involves assistance with daily living activities, community access, and promoting independence through person-centred care.

Applicants must hold a qualification in Disability Support, Nursing, Aged Care, or a related field. Experience in the disability sector is essential.

This position requires a reliable car with full insurance and a valid driver's licence. The ability to travel locally is important to support the participant's daily activities and appointments.

Mandatory checks and training include a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check (Blue Card), National Police Check, and completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.

This is a casual role starting with approximately 10 hours per week, with the potential to increase hours as part of an ongoing respite support program.

We are looking for a fast turnaround on applications and hope to finalise the position by the start of next week (30th September).

The female participant has expressed a preference for a female support worker.
