The Role
This isn't your typical sales role. It's not just about selling, it's about understanding the technical side of solar so you can educate and empower clients to make the best decision for their home or business.
You'll be consulting, problem solving, and educating clients to ensure they receive the best solar solution for their home or business.
You'll also play a key role in driving team results, especially during slower periods, by proactively seeking new leads and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
You'll report to our Sales Manager and be supported by an experienced, high performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting onsite and phone consultations with potential clients.
- Listening to customers needs and explaining solar options in a clear, honest way.
- Preparing tailored proposals and following up to secure sales.
- Building trust and relationships with homeowners and small business clients.
- Taking initiative when needed to develop new business opportunities.
- Collaborating with our team and install teams for seamless installation delivery.
- Supporting clients with after sales queries regarding system performance.
Who We're Looking For
- 3+ years experience in a sales role (solar a bonus, not a must)
- Strong communicator with the confidence to lead client conversations
- Technically minded, with the ability to quickly grasp solar concepts and explain them clearly to clients
- Genuine desire to learn, improve, and contribute to team success
- Results driven and focused on meeting/exceeding monthly targets
- Humble, honest, and aligned with our values of integrity, teamwork and quality
- Self starter with a high level of organisation, accountability and attention to detail
- Computer literate and confident using Microsoft Office and & CRM systems
- Current Driver's Licence (essential)
