As our new Investment Portfolio Assistant, your attention to detail and resourcefulness will be genuinely valued and trusted by our leadership, team, and customers. This role is ideal for someone just starting their career in real estate, with the potential for growth into a Property Management role.

This role comes about due to growth in our business and refining our Property Management Herd under new management to create an award winning, high performing and happy team, to lead our clients towards greener pastures.

How you'll succeed

As a valued member of our team, your Monday-Friday work responsibilities will focus on ensuring that we provide excellence standards of care and service to customers and colleagues, and will include:

  • Customer Communication & Care: Handling incoming calls and being first point of contact for office visitors
  • Provide exceptional support and advice to tenants
  • Building strong supplier and trade relationships
  • Teamwork including general office duties such as office opening and closing, key management and ad hoc administrative duties

This role is designed to help you grow into a Property Management position, you will start by providing support to our Property Management team, including:

  • Key Management: Weekly key audits and ensuring all keys are managed and logged correctly ready for supplier and tenant collection
  • Routines Inspections: conducting routine inspections 3-4 days per week.
  • Maintenance management: Support the team to coordinate property maintenance activities with trades and tenants ensuring effective communication and key management
  • Leasing: Assist with Leasing duties such as Open for Inspections (OFI's) and preparing for new tenants
  • General office support: Housekpeeing and supplies management

Some essential requirements you must bring to the role
  • Current Agent's Representative Certificate is essential
  • Australian Driver's Licence is essential
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
  • Passionate about property management and real estate
  • A good sense of humour
  • Strong written, verbal and telephone communication
  • Approachable, courteous, and quality people skills
  • Immaculate personal presentation
  • Previous real estate administration experience is highly desirable
  • Adaptive to change with a growth mindset
