Onsite Deskside Support Engineer (Mac Specialist) - Sydney CBD

6-Month Contract | Headcount Approved Through 2030 | 5 Days Onsite (Non-negotiable)

We're seeking an experienced
Mac Specialist
to join a well-established internal support team based
onsite in Sydney CBD, five days per week
. Please note, this position requires a
full-time onsite presence
and
proven hands-on experience with Mac, JAMF, and deskside or Tech Bar support
. Candidates without this background will not be considered. An
immediate start is essential
, as the team is ready to onboard right away.

The Role

You'll be the face of IT in a busy
Tech Bar
environment, providing
deskside and remote support
to a large and growing user base. With more than 3,000 users globally (500 in Sydney), this role demands excellent communication, top-tier troubleshooting ability, and a strong focus on customer experience.

The environment is shifting from 10% to
50% Mac users
, so we need someone who lives and breathes
Mac OS
and is ready to contribute
immediately
to this transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide deskside, tech bar, and remote support across both Mac and Windows environments
  • Troubleshoot hardware, monitors, networks, and connectivity issues
  • Manage and maintain
    JAMF Pro and JAMF Connect
    for Mac fleet management
  • Support Intune integration and Windows environments (nice to have)
  • Assist with AV equipment and meeting room technology (advantageous)
  • Collaborate with a national team of 9 across NSW, VIC, and QLD (4 based in Sydney)

Skills & Experience

  • 8-10 years' experience
    in Level 1 and Level 2 support roles across mixed environments
  • Strong
    Mac OS expertise
    with proven
    JAMF Pro and JAMF Connect
    experience - essential
  • Experience providing
    onsite, customer-facing support
    in a Tech Bar or similar environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
  • Solid foundational knowledge of Windows;
    Intune
    and
    AV experience
    highly regarded
  • Must be available to
    start immediately
