About the Role

As a
Technical Onsite Engineer
at Platinum Technology, your focus on exceptional customer service and passion for providing excellent support will drive your success. You represent the company, being onsite in front of clients on a regular basis. You will be responsible for overseeing a range of technologies including End User Compute, Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructure, Networking, and Microsoft Teams Calling solutions. You will have the unique opportunity to expand your knowledge and expertise in cloud technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and IT Security. You will be regularly contributing to a wide variety of projects and will be the hands and feet onsite for the rest of the Platinum team. Your primary objective will be to deliver an exceptional face to face support experience to our valued clients.

How will you make an impact?

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients
• Take ownership of customer issues and requests, proactively managing a positive client experience and ensuring results are communicated clearly
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across a variety of IT environments.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure client security and timely resolution of all requests and incidents.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery
• Participate in IT projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles.

About You

• Australian working rights are required
• Valid driver's license is required
• Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or in a similar role.
• Support experience with Microsoft 365, Windows O/S, Active Directory, and Azure
• High level of self-motivation, adaptability, and willingness to take on new responsibilities
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to efficiently identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong work ethic and customer service mindset
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Good time management and organisational skills, with a focus on punctuality and reliability

Highly Desirable

• Previous experience working for an MSP/IT Solutions Provider
• Previous experience with IT Service Management tools
• Microsoft 365 or Azure certifications
• Tertiary Education in Information Technology (Degree and/or Diploma)
