Red Gem Growers & Packers is a family owned business which grows, packs & markets our fresh & healthy produce around Australia from our base in Nar Nar Goon (Gippsland), Victoria, Australia. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administration/Inventory Assistant to join our team and support both administrative operations and stock control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide general administrative support to the office team
· Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
· Assist with order processing, invoicing, deliveries, and despatch documentation
· Perform regular stock checks and inventory audits
· Data entry, filing, and maintenance of records
· Answering phones and handling customer or supplier queries professionally
· Coordination of Transport
· Support the team with other office tasks as required
Requirements:
· Previous experience in an administrative or inventory-related role preferred
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Onenote)
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Good communication and problem-solving skills
· Experience with inventory or stock management software is an advantage, Freshpack is our inventory program used.
· Relief of staff, reception & inventory when on leave
