What will you do?
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our team at our Southbank office in Melbourne. In this role, you will support the effective implementation and ongoing improvement of our Risk Management Framework, ensuring key risks are identified, monitored, and well managed.
As an output driven Risk and Compliance Analyst, you will partner with various stakeholders to strengthen processes, provide data-driven insights, and build awareness of strong governance practices. This role will also involve planning, executing, documenting, and reporting on critical risks and controls, applying a risk-based approach to support informed decision-making.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the monitoring of enterprise risks and risk appetite measures
- Taking part in risk workshops to help teams understand and apply the Risk Management Framework
- Supporting the review and maintenance of Delegations of Authority
- Assisting our internal audit function with scheduling, preparing documents, and tracking actions
- Assisting with data collection and preparation of risk reports
- Assisting with preparing clear, concise reports and presentations for different audiences
- Supporting the analysis of issues, root cause identification and undertaking control enhancements

Who are you?
- You bring proven experience in a professional or corporate environment (risk, compliance, audit, or related area preferred)
- You bring an analytical and curious mindset, with the ability to collect, organise, and present information clearly
- You have sound knowledge of risk management practices, trends, and emerging developments
- You build strong relationships and work well with a wide range of stakeholders to influence positive change
- You are someone who loves to learn and experiment and displays a growth mindset
- You like to work in fast-paced work environments and contribute to multiple initiatives
- You bring well developed skills across the O365 suite, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- You have familiarity with basic coding language (preferred but not essential).
- You value people and kindness, and are passionate about learning and delivering excellent results
- You strive for excellence and constantly look for ways to exceed expectations; delivering a high-quality service at speed will be second nature
