Risk and Compliance Analyst

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our dynamic and growing team. You will have a wide range of knowledge to detect and minimise any adverse impacts to the company these may have. You will work closely with all teams and levels of management to identify any potential risks and educate other stakeholders on the relevant changes to processes to tackle these risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, review and maintain security documentation
- Manage the design, development and implementation of security standards, guidelines, policies and procedures based on the ISO 27000 series standards, including certification against ISO/IEC 27001 and other compliance frameworks such as Operational Framework and SuperStream Information Security Requirements
- Ensure IT security, IT Risk and IT Service Continuity controls are appropriately implemented
- Liaise with the Department's legal, policy and compliance teams to review documentation and/or support informed decision-making
- Manage the design and operation of related compliance monitoring and improvement activities to ensure compliance both with internal security policies etc. and applicable laws and regulations
- Manage the management and governance of IT Security Vendors
- Work as part of a team to monitor the environment for security issues and applying treatments where appropriate
- Manage the provision of an annual Risk Assessment and the production of a Risk Register
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience
- Security analysis and risk management skills
- Understanding and experience in ISO27001
- Understanding of risk management principles and best practices with an IT Security Operations focus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to write company Policies and educate staff on them
- Ability to adjust and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Technical acumen and the ability to understand and interpret technical requirements
