As part of our growth, we are seeking education counsellor who can help to create marketing content for social media. The role combines student counselling with marketing support driving outreach across Indian, Sri Lankan, and Bangladeshi markets.
About the role
International student focus: we help our students achieve their future dreams.Due to consistent business and market growth, we have a number of exciting opportunities to join our team.With strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, the right candidate will be expected to build on our existing and new agent relationships. This is a rewarding education consultant role that can lead to career progression within Australia.
Tasks & Responsibilities
· Proactively seek potential client via social media
· Build and manage a pipeline of qualified clients
· Being in charge of counselling students by asking important questions, proactively listening to their needs and helping them make the most suitable decision for their study options
· Process applications for international students: ELICOS, VET, College and University (This includes course-related requests, including extension, deferrals, and cancellations.)
· Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of the student's application, including documents, under the CRM
· Communicate with partner institutions to inquire about or follow up with students' application
· Attend professional training and industry event from institutions or the company
· Update and report weekly, monthly & quarterly application process to the manager
· Liaise with other colleagues to help promote our brand and company to international students
To be successful, the applicant will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
· The personality to foster, build and manage relationships
· Excellent presentation & communication skills
· Should have adequate knowledge of the surroundings or domestic area
· Work under pressure and meet or exceed monthly targets
· Be able to work individually with minimal supervision and as part of a team
· Be computer literate and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Willingness to take different opportunities, bringing an open mind to ad-hoc duties as required
· Understanding the Australian student visa system
· Understanding the admission process for English school, VET College and Universities in Australia
*Prior education consultant experience of 1-2 year in Australia is required.
