About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Education Counsellor & Marketing to join our growing team.

In this role, you will provide high-level counselling and support services to international students and their families. You will also play a key role in content creation, digital engagement, and social media outreach—including but not limited to webinars, promotional content, and student success stories.

This is an exceptional opportunity to establish a prominent, media-facing professional identity within the international education sector. Candidates who hold A QEAC-qualified Counsellor or an MARN-registered Migration Agent are highly encouraged to apply.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering personalized education counselling and guidance to prospective students, helping them identify the most suitable academic programs and institutions based on their goals and qualifications
  • Assisting students with the application process, including document preparation, enrolment and visa guidance
  • Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote AOJI's education services and attract a steady pipeline of qualified leads
  • Maintaining strong relationships with partner institutions and education agents to expand our network and identify new opportunities
  • Providing excellent customer service and supporting students throughout their entire study journey
  • Monitoring industry trends and competitor activity to identify new market opportunities
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our student services and marketing initiatives

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an education counselling or student recruitment role, preferably in the international education sector
  • Thorough understanding of the Australian education system and visa requirements for international students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively guide students
  • Strong marketing and lead generation skills, with experience in digital and traditional marketing channels
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Fluency in English and at least one other language, preferably Mandarin
  • Degree in a relevant field such as Education, Marketing or Business
  • A QEAC-qualified Counsellor or an MARN-registered Migration Agent is highly desirable
