We are now seeking a compassionate and experienced Migration Agent and/or Education Counsellor to join our growing team and help shape the futures of our students with care, knowledge and professionalism.


About the Role

As a Migration Agent/Education Counsellor, you will be the trusted advisor for students navigating their educational pathways. From course selection and university applications to mental health support and study abroad planning, you will offer end-to-end guidance tailored to each student's needs.

You will work closely with students, families, educational institutions, and our in-house migration experts to provide holistic support and ensure each student receives the best possible outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalised academic counselling, including program selection and application support.
  • Assist students with local and international admissions, scholarships, and financial aid options.
  • Support students' mental health and well-being, offering guidance on stress and personal challenges.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records of academic outcomes.
  • Help students transition from high school to higher education smoothly and confidently.
  • Stay up to date with university admission requirements, especially in India and Australia.
  • Collaborate with education providers, teachers, and internal teams to ensure student success.
  • Promote EVOLVE's commitment to student-centered, ethical counselling practices.

About You

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counselling, Psychology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years experience in education counselling or student advisory roles.
  • Strong understanding of education systems and application processes in Australia and/or internationally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Empathetic, student-focused approach with cultural sensitivity.
  • Highly organised with strong time management and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Counselling certification or licensure (desirable).
  • Experience with international education and migration pathways.
  • Familiarity with CRM or student management systems.
  • Knowledge of Indian and Australian higher education institutions.
