About the Opportunity
As Senior Capability Manager at eHealth NSW, you'll lead the strategic management of staff capabilities across their entire employment lifecycle. You'll create and deliver a capability roadmap that equips our workforce for the future, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
You'll inspire teams to continuously grow and excel, building a true centre of excellence. By developing knowledge repositories, standardised tools, and best-practice methodologies, you'll drive consistency, collaboration, and outstanding outcomes across eHealth NSW.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development and delivery of the organisation's capability roadmap, ensuring workforce skills and competencies are continuously uplifted and aligned with strategic goals.
- Build governance frameworks and forge partnerships with stakeholders to create a true centre of excellence
- Optimise resources by driving forecasting, allocation, and performance tools to maximise organisational impact.
- Champion innovation, guide a high-performing team, and manage budgets to keep us at the forefront of emerging trends.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- You have relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience) and a background in leading capability teams and ICT resource management in large or complex shared services environments, specifically in managing Cloud environments and engineers, AWS is preferred.
- You are an experienced leader who motivates teams, builds capability, and develops talent to create a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
- You can analyse resource utilisation, plan capacity and capability to meet business needs, and schedule resources to optimise delivery.
- You are confident in managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and handling procurement and engagement management in an ICT environment.
