**About the role**
The ICT Investment Manager supports the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Investment Strategy for the NSW Health system and is accountable for ICT investment management and ICT program and project prioritisation and assurance to ensure the achievement of objectives in relation to health system ICT development and investment. Reporting into the Investment Senior Manager, a key focus will be in driving technology investment planning and prioritisation within eHealth NSW and across NSW Health more broadly. The role is a part of the Investment Management team which collaborates with a broad range of stakeholders to identify, define, and manage the approval and allocation of funding for ICT initiatives which range between $500,000 to $500 Mil in capital allocations to support the delivery of the eHealth Strategy for NSW Health. These large-scale initiatives make a difference in how the NSW health System operates today and into the future.
We are hiring three ICT Investment Managers reporting to the following:
- Devang Mamtora is Investment Senior Manager who you will report to and have 1 direct report with a focus on the Integrated Care and Analytical stream.
- Ray Bodnar is Investment Senior Manager who you will report to and have 1 direct report with a focus on the Clinical stream
- Graham Baum is our Senior Manager across Portfolio & Investment Assurance where you will be a member of a team of 4 and be involved in providing portfolio level support from business cases development, Investment Assurance and benefits management.
There is plenty of autonomy in the role and an opportunity to showcase your contribution with regular varied interaction (meetings, workshops, stand -ups etc) across eHealth NSW, the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Local Health Districts (LHDs).
We understand flexible work is a priority for most people and have the systems and policies in place to support it. This may include a mix of working from home and / or in one of our offices - Chatswood/St. Leonards office.

- Proven expertise and a record of achievement in leading and developing large ICT investments in a large and complex service industry organization, including financial/economic modelling and cost-benefit analysis...
- Demonstrative expertise in management of ICT investment across and broad portfolio in a complex environment, including expert knowledge in ICT planning and investment processes, program management and program performance improvement.
- Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions. This includes excellent capability in both verbal and written communication and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and extensive experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with proven capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform, and maintain a customer focused approach.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging, collaborating, and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
- Ability to operate under ambiguity under frequently changing work priorities is a must
- Ability to navigate complex problems and provide potential solution options and ways forward with reasons clearly explaining the pros and cons.
