About The Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. You will be responsible for:

  • the management of the Sydney Health Care Interpreter Service (SHCIS) Sessional Interpreters and associated projects.
  • human resource, reporting functions and complaints management of Sessional Interpreters; and the preparation and scope of business cases for complex projects including cost and resource impacts.
  • the management of the strategic long-term direction of the service including service planning, development and promotion and contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic plan for SHCIS and SLHD Population Health.

Ideal Candidate

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant management experience with NAATI Certification in Interpreting and/or Translating.
  • Experience in human resource issues including recruitment and performance management.
  • Currently holds a valid NSW driver's licence (P1 and P2 licence acceptable)
