Are you an experienced Project Manager ready to make a tangible impact in healthcare? At NSW Health Pathology, we are creating better health and justice systems. We are currently undertaking our largest digital health transformation initiative to date, which will improve the way we provide patient care, as well as how we provide forensic and analytical science services to help solve crimes.

We are seeking a strategic and outcomes-driven professional to lead the planning and delivery of complex technical and service delivery projects that directly enhance patient care across the state. In this pivotal role, you'll work alongside senior stakeholders—including the Program Manager, Program Director, CIO, and clinical leaders—to deliver high-priority initiatives on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your leadership will shape innovative, fit-for-purpose solutions that drive sustainable change in a dynamic healthcare environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a relationship-focused leader who thrives in complex stakeholder environments and understands the importance of balancing clinical and operational priorities. You'll be instrumental in building strategic partnerships across NSW Health Pathology and external agencies, ensuring transparency and collaboration throughout every phase of the project lifecycle. If you're passionate about healthcare innovation, value integrity and continuous improvement, and are ready to contribute to projects that have lasting impact, we invite you to join a team where your work truly matters.

What we can offer you

  • Accrued Days Off in addition to Annual Leave
  • Generous salary packaging options and other fringe benefits
  • Corporate wellbeing programs, including the Fitness Passport
  • Learning and development opportunities, including in-house training with RTO My Health Learning

What you'll be doing

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage project schedules, oversee scope and risk, and collaborate with senior stakeholders, including the Program Manager, Program Director, Chief Information Officer, and key clinical and operational leaders, to drive successful outcomes. Your work will directly contribute to the realisation of program benefits and long-term improvements in patient care.
