We are seeking an experienced and values-driven
Finance Manager
to lead a finance function and guide a dedicated team. This is a pivotal leadership role where your commercial expertise, strategic thinking, and people management skills will directly contribute to the ongoing success and sustainability of the organisation.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, Audit & Procurement, you will:

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals (Procurement, Accounting & Finance Officers, Bookkeeper).
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans that support both short and long-term goals.
  • Oversee financial systems, statutory reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and tax legislation.
  • Provide clear, insightful reporting and analysis to support executive and board decision-making.
  • Manage risk, governance, and internal controls to ensure organisational sustainability.
  • Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and systems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business.
  • CPA or CA ANZ membership (essential).
  • At least 2 years' experience in a Finance Manager (or comparable senior finance) role.
  • Strong experience in financial and management accounting, budgeting, and statutory reporting.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience managing and developing a finance team.
  • High-level commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial insights into strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership and the board.
  • A strong values-driven approach and commitment to integrity and accountability.
  • Current NSW C Class Driver's Licence.
