Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Hays | Accountancy & Finance Full time $100,000 - $140,000 per year

Our client, a global facilities management company, is looking for an experienced Finance & Commercial Manager to join their team. until end of June 2026. You will be required to travel to Melbourne once a month, with all expenses covered.

Salary - $140K + super

Your new role

  • Deliver complete financial reporting for the Healthscope account.
  • Manage finance deliverables, including cost and revenue reporting aligned with the GMP model.
  • Serve as the commercial lead with full understanding of the client contract.
  • Prepare contract variations and manage agreements with sub-contractors.
  • Provide daily operational support to determine scope and chargeable works.
  • Review monthly client billings and resolve disputes promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Oversee the variation process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage monthly accruals and provide internal reporting commentary.
  • Act as the main contact for all client accounting matters and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, standards, and agreements.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Solid business acumen with expertise in business planning and financial strategy.
  • Familiarity with QA, WH&S, and environmental systems in operational environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in analysing contracts
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, accounting or finance, with CA or CPA certification.
