CRA Building Services is seeking to appoint a
Finance Manager
to lead the organisation's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and sustainable performance.

This pivotal role is responsible for safeguarding the organisation's financial health while contributing to strategic decision-making. You will lead and develop the finance team, maintain robust internal controls, and provide timely insights to support growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily finance operations with accuracy and efficiency
  • Deliver timely financial and management reports, cash flows and forecasts
  • Monitor WIP, claims, job status, and cost allocations
  • Drive growth through financial modelling, analysis, and appraisal
  • Ensure compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements
  • Provide clear financial advice to senior management
  • Strengthen systems, processes, and internal controls
  • Support project managers with cost and job performance data
  • Maintain strong governance and risk management practices
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified CA/CPA finance professional with the technical expertise and leadership skills to drive financial performance and support business growth. With strong analytical ability and a collaborative approach, you will be confident working at both a strategic and operational level.

You will also bring:

  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Strong ability in WIP and projects from building, construction or similar environments
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with financial systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team
  • High ethical standards, discretion, and meticulous attention to detail
