About the role

Bring your quality assurance experience to a great opportunity for growth in the resources sector, while being home each night and enjoying an attractive salary package. Be part of a small family business working for a local state project. Reporting to the Client's Construction Manager, this casual/fixed-term full-time role beginning in October 2025 includes:

  • Daily site quality assurance/surveillance tasks for E&I works
  • Support and ensure compliance to Australian Standards, project specifications and requirements
  • Identification of non-conformances and support rectification works
  • Monitor, witness and support work to the site Quality Management System
  • Communication with various stakeholders on quality and progress

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified electrician with a current practicing licence or a qualified and experience electrical engineer and have a current Australian Work Visa/ Residency/ Citizenship. This role is for a Townsville local. You will also need the following:

  • Current full driver's licence for Australia
  • Experience in quality assurance and quality management systems, with Client side experience preferred
  • Experience working as a team player that contributes to positive work culture and can work autonomously, building strong relationships with both the Client and Contractor teams
  • Proven reliability and punctual attendance at work.
