**About the Company**

Our client is a family-owned business and the head group of multiple companies who specialise in FMCG. They have approximately 180 employees nationally, with a head office of 80 employees in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

**About the Role**

This role is responsible for assisting the Quality & Compliance Manager with maintaining quality assurance within the organisation and for its products. This includes areas of complaints, compliance, packaging, documentation, auditing, sampling, issue resolution and product specification.

**Duties**

Some of your duties will include:

- Coordinate customer complaint responses and prepare summary reports of these
- Coordinate product testing and verification activities
- Prepare samples for laboratory testing
- Support in internal and external audits
- Ensure labels are compliant to FSANZ & ACCC labelling laws
- Ensure products comply with established quality and HACCP requirements
- Author internal documents including procedures, SOP, and forms
- Conduct ongoing review of the Quality Management System

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in a similar quality assurance officer/coordination role - **2 years minimum**:

- Previous experience in FMCG, food or manufacturing business - **essential**:

- Experience in working to quality standards relating to WQA/SQF/HACCP - **essential**:

- Be immediately available to start
