Description & Requirements

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor with strong gas turbine expertise for upcoming work on Curtis Island.

This short-term opportunity offers a chance to work with a leading engineering group while contributing to a high-performing team in a dynamic industrial environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily activities of work crews.
  • Ensure compliance with internal, client, and legislative HSE requirements.
  • Meet quality, production, and environmental standards.
  • Provide direction on trade-specific work requirements.
  • Mentor and coach direct reports; ensure competency across site workers.
  • Liaise with client representatives to plan work, resolve issues, and identify variations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in work methods and safety.
  • Identify cost-saving initiatives and report on outcomes and lessons learned.

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 4 years extensive Supervisory experience in the Oil & Gas sector is highly desirable.
  • QLD Electrical Trade and current licence.
  • Gas Turbine maintenance experience.
  • Proven leadership of electrical teams (tradespersons, apprentices, assistants).
  • The drive to get hands on and lead by example.
  • EEHA & Cert IV in Electrical Instrumentation.
  • Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proof of right to work in Australia.
