Assistant Venue Manager – The Island Elizabeth Quay

Location: Perth, WA

The Island Elizabeth Quay is looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Venue Manager to join our team. Located on the stunning Elizabeth Quay waterfront, The Island offers breathtaking views, a vibrant atmosphere, and a diverse clientele — from tourists and locals to corporates and families. Our venue is known for its quality food, drinks, and outstanding service, and we're proud of the professional, friendly culture we've built.

The Role

As Assistant Venue Manager, you'll work closely with the Venue Manager to help run daily operations across all areas of the venue. You'll lead by example, help manage and train staff, ensure smooth service, and maintain high standards across the board.

This is a full-time role suited to someone who is ready to step up, take responsibility, and grow their leadership skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

What We're Looking For:
  • Previous hospitality experience in a supervisory or assistant management role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A hands-on, team-focused approach
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen to learn, grow, and support the leadership team
  • Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification and Approved Manager's Certificate
